PGA Tour Champions president Greg McLaughlin is leaving his post to become the World Golf Foundation chief executive and president of The First Tee.
McLaughlin, who has headed the senior circuit since January 2015, overseeing the 20-year partnership with Charles Schwab and the implementation of the playoff system, will now serve as a leader among the top golf organizations.
“As a member of the greater golf community for more than 30 years, I have always been proud of what the collective efforts of our sport have done and continue to do to inspire communities and change lives, especially for young people who can learn and grow through the values of golf,” McLaughlin said in a statement.
