NAPA, Calif. – Three weeks ago, Andrew Loupe wasn’t even sure where he would play this season.
A win in the Web.com Tour Finals answered that question. Another victory Sunday at the Frys.com Open would ensure that the big hitter has job security for the next few years.
Loupe made 10 birdies on a sun-splashed day at Silverado and will enter the final round just one shot back of Brendan Steele.
“It was a fabulous day,” he said.
Loupe was sent back to the minors after recording only one top-25 in 15 starts last season on the PGA Tour.
