Lizette Salas takes four-shot lead at Meijer LPGA Classic

Lizette Salas opened up a four-shot lead Saturday at the Meijer LPGA Classic after firing a bogey-free 7-under 64.

Salas made three straight birdies from No. 14-16 on a day where she hit 16 greens in regulation and needed only 27 putts. The 26-year-old out of Azusa, Calif., who has made $1.9 million on the LPGA Tour since her rookie year in 2012, is playing for her second LPGA win.

"I made a couple of changes after missing the cut at ANA (Inspiration, in April)," said Salas, who noted that she recently changed coaches. "Gradually, things have been coming together.
