The youth just keeps attacking on the LPGA Tour, as 20-year-old Lexi Thompson won the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship by a single shot on Sunday.
It took a fourth straight sub-70 round at the Sky 72 Golf Club Ocean Course, but Thompson got it done with a 3-under 69 that followed rounds of 68, 67, 69 for a 15-under total. Yani Tseng and Sung Hyun Park tied for second at 14 under. Park opened the tournament with a 62 that jumped her out to an early four-shot lead.
Thompson birdied her final three holes on the front nine Sunday to take the initiative.
