Leona Maguire was already the top player in women's college golf in 2015, with the Annika Award Presented by 3M to show for it, and now her home country has decided Maguire is its top young star.
Maguire earned the Irish Independent Young Sports Star of the Year award on Wednesday, earning the honor after a topping the public vote from that took place in Ireland from Nov. 24 to Dec. 8.
