A flurry of withdrawal announcements have opened up some new spots in the latest Olympic golf standings.
Major champions Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel have all pulled their names from consideration for golf's return to the Olympics this summer, decisions that have allowed Marc Leishman and Jaco Van Zyl to both move into the latest projected field.
A 60-man field will be determined based on the Official World Golf Rankings after the Open Championship. Each country is allowed a max of two representatives, with an exception for up to four players per country if all are ranked inside the top 15.
