Lahiri on crucial missed putt: 'Wasn't in the script this time'

INCHEON, South Korea – It wasn’t the week nor the ending Anirban Lahiri had scripted for his first Presidents Cup, but he savored the experience nonetheless.

Lahiri teed off on the 18th hole all square in his singles match on Sunday against Chris Kirk and he needed to deliver at least a half point for the Internationals to have a chance to win the Cup outright.

The momentum seemed to be with Lahiri - a native of India who will play his first full season on the PGA Tour next year - facing a 4-foot birdie putt; but Kirk rolled in his birdie attempt from 15 feet and Lahiri’s putt to tie slipped past.
