IRVING, Texas – Living out of a suitcase is part of life on the PGA Tour, but this week Colt Knost decided to trade a hotel room for something a little more cozy.
“I'm slumming over there, that little shack he's got,” Knost laughed on Wednesday when asked if he was staying with Jordan Spieth this week.
Knost attended Southern Methodist University, lived in Dallas for most of his life and still has family in the area, but he decided to move to Scottsdale, Ariz., a month ago.
So Spieth offered Knost accommodations at his $7.
