Jane Park Moves Into 3-Way Tie for First at US Women's Open

LANCASTER, Pa. — Jane Park made a birdie and four pars as play resumed at the U.S. Women's Open, moving the American into a three-way tie for the lead after the rain-delayed first round.

The 2004 U.S. Amateur champion is tied with Karrie Webb and Marina Alex at 4-under 66. Na Yeon Choi, the 2012 U.S. Open winner, and Amy Yang are a stroke back.

Top-ranked Inbee Park returned to complete her opening round Friday and got to within a shot of the lead before a bogey at No. 17 left her two shots back, in a pack of eight players at 2-under 68.
