Freddie Jacobson opened the second round at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with a three-putt, a rather significant development considering it was his first three-putt in more than three months.
Jacobson lagged a 34-foot birdie attempt to just outside 3 feet on the 10th hole at TPC Louisiana, his first of the day. When his par putt missed the target, it signaled Jacobson's first three-putt in 542 holes, a new PGA Tour record.
The Swede had not three-putted since the second round of the Humana Challenge on Jan.
