Considering the euphoria of the United States' stunning four-point comeback on European soil in the Solheim Cup in September, it's no wonder Juli Inkster is craving more of the biennial event.
Inkster confirmed on Friday that she will return as U.S. team captain for the Solheim Cup in 2017. The World Golf Gall of Famer will head up an American group at Des Moines Golf and Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa, in search of its first back-to-back triumph at the event since 2009 (when the U.S. completed a three-peat).
“I have had a lot of exciting and memorable highlights during my time on Tour but leading that team of 12 women was one of the biggest thrills of my entire golf career," said Inkster, 55.
