SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) -- U.S. Solheim Cup captain Juli Inkster and assistant captain Pat Hurst teamed to win two nine-hole matches to help the United States take a 16-8 lead over the World team Friday in the Legends Tour's ISPS Handa Cup.
Inkster and Hurst beat Lorie Kane and Catriona Matthew 31-34 in the morning four-ball matches, and routed Liselotte Neumann and Alicia Dibos 29-36 in the afternoon modified alternate-shot session.
Danielle Ammaccapane and Kris Tschetter also won two matches. They edged Helen Alfredsson and Jan Stephenson 35-36 in the morning, and beat Wendy Doolan and Jenny Lidback 34-37 in the afternoon.
