ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Friday was a mixed bag for Team Love at the RSM Classic, with host Davis Love III making the cut at 2 under and son, Dru, missing the weekend after an eventful closing nine.
Dru Love moved to 3 under for the week through 11 holes on a blustery day at Sea Island Resort, but bogeyed the par-3 third hole (he began his day on the 10th) and never recovered.
“Today I wish I was caddying,” said Davis Love, who was paired with his son for the first two rounds.
