Henley given 2-stroke penalty on four consecutive holes at Mayakoba

During the second round of the Mayakoba Golf Classic, Russell Henley was given a two-stroke penalty on holes 9-12, eight strokes in total, for breach of Rule 20-3.

Hjenley was signing balls for fans when he realized one of the balls was slightly different from the one he uses, and said he wasn't sure how it got in his bag.

Henley was 2 under on his round prior to the violation, and ultimately signed for a second-round, 6-over 77, dropping him to 1 over on the week. His 77 was 11 shots worse than his opening-round 66.
