Hawaii man pleads guilty to using Robert Allenby's credit cards

Robert Allenby’s bizarre kidnapping and robbery saga returned to headlines this week as a Hawaii man pleaded guilty Tuesday to using Allenby’s credit cards.

Owen Harbison was arrested in February on charges of identity theft, attempted theft and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information. As reported by Golfweek in February, Honolulu police Lt. John McCarthy said Harbison was shown on video at various Waikiki stores using Allenby’s credit cards.

Now, Harbison has agreed to a five-year prison term as part of a plea deal, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Delaplane said. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug.
