Gregory goes from 92 at U.S. Open to 62 and European Tour card

Does the name Scott Gregory ring a bell? Remember the guy who shot 92 in the first round of this year’s U.S. Open? He’s that guy.

He’s also the guy who shot 62 en route to earning his 2019 European Tour card.

Gregory finished the six-round European Tour Q-School at 19 under par, good enough for a tie for 11th. Twenty-seven players earned their cards, with Zander Lombard and Alejandro Canizares leading the way.

“It takes a lot out of you so I’m just over the moon. It makes up for a few of the things that I went through this year,” said Gregory, who shot 62 in the third round.
