For Bryson DeChambeau, breakout year is all thanks to change in attitude

BURLINGTON, Iowa – Bryson DeChambeau scarfed down a banana on the first tee before the start of the Golfweek Conference Challenge. Prior to that, he’d eaten a full breakfast at Perkins.

Doesn’t seem particularly noteworthy except that 13 months ago, DeChambeau’s nerves wouldn’t have let that happen. For years he struggled to get food down before a round of tournament golf.

To understand how DeChambeau’s career exploded in the summer of 2015, it’s important to know how his life dramatically changed one year prior, eating habits and all.

DeChambeau’s unique technical approach, one-of-a-kind clubs and dapper style make him a fascinating character.
