Already a winner this season on the WGT Virtual Tour, fmagnets added a major title to his credit when he captured the newly-created Champion tier at the Chambers Bay Championship.
A stroke-play score of 164 left fmagnets three shots ahead of Walk0flife and eight shots clear of manishgolfer9, who finished third. Other tier winners included frenchconnnect (Tour Legend), HuskerJackie (Legend), MianSheryar (Tour Master), RangeMasterUSA (Master), onkelslfons (Tour Pro) and StrollinAlong (Pro).
With a Tour Legend victory, frenchconnect also won the quarterly title among the tier for the July-Sept. quarter. This sets up a match between the top from the Champion division against the best from the Tour Legend division, pitting fmagnets against frenchconnect.
