Five players emotionally earn PGA Tour Champions status at Final Stage of Q-School

In one of golf's toughest tests, five players secured full PGA Tour Champions status for 2023 at the Final Stage of Q-School.

Richard Green earned medalist honors at TPC Scottsdale with a score of 18 under, four shots clear of runner-up Wes Short Jr.

Green, a 51-year-old Aussie, is a three-time DP World Tour winner and won twice this year on the European Senior Tour. He placed T-4 at the 2007 Open Championship, but has never played full-time in the United States.

"(Earning PGA Tour Champions status) means everything," Green said. "I've had a long career playing overseas in Europe and I’ve wanted to always play in America.
