Matthew Fitzpatrick rolled in a short birdie putt on the 72nd hole to clinch the biggest win of his career at the DP World Tour Championship.
Fitzpatrick began the final round in Dubai one shot off the lead, but the Englishman rallied with a 5-under 67 that left him one shot ahead of Tyrrell Hatton in the European Tour's final event of the season. It marks Fitzpatrick's second win of 2016 and third European win of his brief career.
"Words can't describe it. It's not going to sink in for a while," Fitzpatrick told reporters.
