Farr-Kaye Takes Over Arizona State's Women's Golf Program

TEMPE, Ariz. — Missy Farr-Kaye has been promoted to Arizona State's head women's golf coach.

Athletic director Ray Anderson announced the move Friday.

Farr-Kaye spent the past 13 seasons as an assistant coach and associate head coach under Melissa Luellen, who left the Sun Devils last week to coach Auburn,

Farr-Kaye helped Arizona State win its first NCAA title as a senior in 1990. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Her sister, former Arizona State and LPGA Tour player Heather Farr, died of breast cancer in 1993 at the age of 28.

"This is my dream job in every sense of the word," Farr-Kaye said.
