Sometimes, the truest rewards for winning a golf tournament aren’t received at the trophy presentation. Sometimes, they are far more personal and arrive in a steady flow for several days.
Which is why Greg Chalmers is still “flying high” and continues to be overwhelmed by the text messages, phone calls, emails, and warm greetings and embraces he has received since winning the Barracuda Championship Sunday in Reno, Nev.
“The impact (of winning) has been amazing and the people who have reached out have been very kind. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it,” said Chalmers.
