FORT WORTH, Texas – It’s hard to start a round much better than Harris English did on Sunday at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational.
Starting the day two shots off the lead, English holed a wedge from 83 yards for eagle on the opening hole. The shot helped to propel English to a closing 4-under 66 at Colonial Country Club, where he finished alone in second place for his best finish of the season.
“That was a great start,” English said. “Starting out with a hole-out, I couldn’t expect anything more than that, and it got me off to a good start and I kind of kept going from there.
