Despite slow start to 2016, Jason Day remains motivated to be the best

ORLANDO, Fla. –– Jason Day was playing a Monday practice round with Adam Hadwin at Bay Hill when the topic of complacency surfaced. That’s when Day, the 2015 PGA Championship winner, started lecturing the second-year pro on how he’s learned to avoid that trap.

“There's guys out here that are just comfortable from 50 to 100 on the FedEx (Cup standings) and enjoy that spot, you know,” Day said. “I was just telling him you got to be OK with feeling uncomfortable because if you're uncomfortable it usually means you're doing something right, especially out here.

“And the times that you're uncomfortable is the most you'll learn in that situation and I just told him that I was looking forward to being uncomfortable for the rest of my life.
