Creamer sticking with swing changes despite MC

DALY CITY, Calif. – Paula Creamer is disappointed she won’t play the weekend at the Swinging Skirts Classic, but she’s going to enjoy her time back home in Northern California anyway.

Following an opening round 82 with a 78 Friday, Creamer missed the cut for just the ninth time in her 11-year career, and the first time this season. The 82 was her highest score in an LPGA event.

Creamer, struggling through some swing and equipment changes, grew up in Pleasanton, about 40 miles east of Lake Merced Golf Club. She had a lot of family and friends following her this week.
