C. Kim (69) changing approach to Solheim Cup bid

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Christina Kim left scoring at Sahalee Country Club with her left eye twitching.

Kim said she loved the course, but it’s a nerve-wracking test that totally taxed her Thursday in a round of 2-under-par 69 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“This place has absolutely drained me,” Kim said. “I’m exhausted right now.”

Kim was tied for second when she left scoring.

“The greens are perfect,” Kim said. “The fairways are perfect, the rough is perfect and nasty. I can't rave about this place enough. It screams major, and it is first class.
