Brooke Henderson grew up defending a hockey goal. In many ways, it was the perfect proving ground for the burgeoning Canadian star.
The 17-year-old knows what it’s like to stand alone in the spotlight, the fate of a team resting on her ability to deliver a millisecond save.
“Goalies are a different breed,” said Canadian Lorie Kane, a four-time LPGA winner. “To have pucks shot at them, you’ve got to be confident in what you do.
