PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – It’s hard to find a moment of seriousness between childhood friends Tiffany Joh and Jane Park. Two of the LPGA’s funny girls, Joh and Park took to naming various short-game shots as they walked down the ninth fairway at Blythefield Country Club.
“This one’s Delilah,” Park cracked.
Gareth Raflewski, Park’s instructor the past 15 months, taught her five different shots around the greens throughout the course of a relaxed Tuesday practice round at the Meijer LPGA Classic. It also marked the first time Raflewski got an extended look at Joh’s game.
