No team could touch Baylor over two days at Laredo Country Club, as the Bears rose to an eight-shot win at the Border Olympics.
The Bears fired scores of 11-under 277 and 9-under 279 to jump far in front of the field in Laredo, Texas. No. 44 Houston placed second at 12 under, ruth Rice (9 under) in third and Sam Houston State and Louisiana (7 under) in a tie for fourth.
The Border Olympics were originally scheduled for 54 holes, but was shortened to 36 holes.
