Even though the Houston Rockets have home court advantage in the Western Conference Finals after earning the top seed during the regular season, the Golden State Warriors are actually the favorite to win the series in Vegas.
The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas opened with Golden State listed as -185 favorites to win the series against Houston. The odds grew to Golden State -190 in the first two hours after it had posted.
Houston opened at +155, meaning that a $100 bet placed on the Rockets would collect $155 in winnings.
However, Houston is currently listed as a two-point favorite over Golden State in Game 1 of the series, which will be Monday at 9:00 p.m. ET on TNT. It will only be the seventh game this season in which the Warriors have been the underdogs.

The Rockets actually won the regular season series between the two sides, 2-1, but Golden State is the defending champions and has won two of the last three NBA titles.
Houston has not been to the conference finals since 2015 when they lost to the Warriors in five games.
