Warriors News: Golden State Interested In Signing Andrew Bogut?

The Philadelphia 76ers waived Andrew Bogut after acquiring him as part of the trade that sent Nerlens Noel to the Dallas Mavericks, making the Golden State Warriors eligible to sign him again, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Golden State traded Bogut to the Mavs on July 4 after Kevin Durant announced he was going to sign with the Warriors.

Though that move was made to create more cap space to sign Durant, the Warriors had grown frustrated with Bogut's lack of offensive production. However, this Warriors team has been looking to add a big man to help with rebounding and shot blocking, both of which Bogut would provide.

Bogut is averaging 3.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in just 26 games so far this season.
