JaVale McGee appeared to enjoy playing with the Warriors. He says he didn’t think twice about bolting to the Lakers.
“Going back to Oakland was a great opportunity,” McGee said to ESPN’s Sam Alipour recently, “but coming here with LeBron (James) and knowing how that’s going to set the city on fire, a city I already live in, I definitely wanted to be part of that. I signed like an hour after LeBron.”
Not even the most passionate Warriors rooter could begrudge McGee that opportunity. He is just so likeable, so clearly enamored of the game, and such great fun to watch when he gets into one of his catch-and-dunk flurries.
