It turns out that Dell and Sonya Curry were rooting for their son Seth’s Portland Trail Blazers to get over on their son Stephen’s Golden State Warriors in the conference finals last May.

Outwardly, they appeared to be neutral, with one always wearing a Warriors jersey and the other donning Blazers gear. They revealed no bias. They thought it would be good, clean fun.
“It’s going to be so much fun,” Sonya said prior to Game 1. “It is. From our end, to see both of our sons to compete at this level and for the goal to be a championship is such a blessing.
