Why Kevin Durant is no longer most hated player in NBA

To much of the country, Kevin Durant’s villainous act of joining the Warriors three years ago made him easy to hate.

It apparently only took a second-place finish and a second serious injury for Durant to no longer be considered the most hated player in the NBA.

LeBron James, who looks poised to build another super team with the Lakers in Los Angeles, is now officially the player we love to hate the most, according to a social media study by sportsinsider.com.

Based on geo-tagged Twitter data from more than 100,000 tweets across the United States since the Raptors beat the Warriors in the NBA Finals two weeks ago, LeBron is more hated than any NBA player in 25 states.
