After Wednesday night's action, all of the teams in the Western Conference play-in logjam have exactly two games remaining.
For all the dizzying possibilities, the simplest playoff scenario remains the same for the Warriors: win Friday night in Sacramento and Sunday afternoon in Portland, and they clinch a top-six seed. (They could also notch win No. 43 on Friday, and clinch a top-six spot with losses from the Lakers and Pelicans that night.) In addition to avoiding the harrowing play-in, it also comes with the benefit of getting about a week off. Their first game of a playoff series would be no earlier than Saturday, April 15.
