OAKLAND — Lake Merritt will see a lot of confetti this week.
After the Golden State Warriors Game 5 NBA Finals win Monday, the team and City of Oakland announced plans to hold the city’s second victory parade in three years at this coming Thursday starting at 10 a.m.
Fans should plan to wake up early to get to the parade route and team rally point at the site of the old Henry J. Kaiser convention center on the southeast side of Lake Merritt.
