The Bay Area's newest celebrity chef, Ayesha Curry, will join more than a dozen others when Sunset magazine hosts its annual Celebration Weekend on June 14-15.
For the first time, the event will be held in Sonoma County, at Cornerstone Sonoma, Sunset's new locale for large events. The staff of the venerable bible for Western living moved last year from their longtime Peninsula digs to Jack London Square in Oakland, but they needed a more spacious site for Celebration Weekend, the test gardens, wine tasting tents and displays.Curry is a Walnut Creek mother (and wife of Warriors star Stephen Curry) who has parlayed her culinary talent and blog recipes into a soon-to-be-released cookbook, "The Seasoned Life," and an upcoming show on the Food Network.
