The Warriors unveiled their not-so-secret new throwback jersey in an Instagram video posted Tuesday.
The "Classic Edition" jersey features "SAN FRANCISCO" in gold letters against a white background with red, yellow and blue trim around the neck and arm openings. The alternate uniform is one of six that the team will wear during its first season at the Chase Center.
As a Twitter user previously noted, the jersey resembles the uniform of the Wilt Chamberlain-led San Francisco Warriors of the early 1960s, only in white instead of yellow. The font is different, and of course, Wilt never played in a jersey sporting a Rakuten badge.
