Warriors’ Stephen Curry to miss at least another week with ankle injury

Guard Stephen Curry will miss at least another week with a sprained right ankle, the Warriors announced Tuesday evening.

Team doctors determined Tuesday that Curry’s ankle “is healing well and that he is making good progress overall, enabling him to progress to modified on-court workouts in the coming days,” Golden State said in a news release. The team hopes to have a clearer timetable on his return after re-evaluating him in a week.

That leaves the Warriors without Curry for at least four more games: Wednesday against Memphis, Friday against the Lakers, Saturday against Denver and the much-hyped Christmas Day game against Cleveland.
