Warriors' Steph Curry scored 52 points in 'custom-made' butt gear

Steph Curry’s electric 52-point performance against the Grizzlies on Tuesday came with some serious back-end support for the superstar.

It’s been three games since the 37-year-old guard returned to the Warriors lineup after suffering a pelvic contusion against the Raptors 13 days ago. In order to prevent another injury to that area of his body, he’s wearing “a custom-made pad protecting his sore tailbone and pelvic area,” according to Anthony Slater of the Athletic.

That’s certainly one way to describe it, but another way would be to call it a butt pad.
