Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry went nuclear in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the visiting Boston Celtics.
He set a Finals record for 3-pointers in a single quarter with six in the opening frame, he razzled and dazzled his way to the first and only Mark Jackson "Mama, there goes that man" of the game and he carried the Dubs in a first half that saw Curry score 21 in the first quarter and the entire Warriors roster score 22 in the second.
In a third quarter that saw the Dubs turn a two-point deficit at half into a 12-point lead, Celtics guard Jayson Tatum got creative in his attempts to slow the two-time MVP, flat-tiring Curry on a drive to the rim with five minutes to go in the third frame.
