For Sunday's game against the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is wearing custom-designed shoes intended to show solidarity with the Asian community.
The shoes, which are yellow and black and inscribed with Bruce Lee's face as well as a famous Lee quote (“Under the heavens, there is but one family"), will be auctioned off in the weeks following the game to raise money for the eight families whose loved ones were killed last month in Atlanta.
Curry spoke to The Undefeated about the idea for the shoes and his feelings about the uptick in violence against Asians in the United States.
