About three weeks ago, as the team was gearing up to open training camp, it was reported that the team would sign the guard to such a deal. But it took a few preseason games and two weeks of training camp before it actually happened.
Oakland native Will Cherry joined the Warriors today after signing an Exhibit 10 deal. He’s expected to play for G-League Santa Cruz.
