Warriors reportedly optimistic Jimmy Butler avoided 'long-term' pelvic injury

Maybe the rest of the Warriors should start wearing butt pads proactively after Jimmy Butler became the third Golden State player in the past five weeks to leave a game with a pelvic contusion.

Butler played only eight minutes in the Dubs’ Game 2 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday, leaving after a nasty midair collision with Houston’s Amen Thompson saw Butler land backside-first on the hardwood floor.

The play led to many Warriors fans, and even 95.7 The Game host Dan Dibley, accusing Thompson of playing dirty and perhaps trying to injure Butler intentionally.
