MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Warriors did not just go over the game plan. They spent part of Tuesday’s practice here expressing sympathy about Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffering a season-ending injury on his left leg.
“We send our best wishes for a full recovery,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “It’s tough to see.”
Before the Warriors (50-23) prepared for Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies (30-44), Kerr watched footage of Nurkic fracturing his left tibia and fibula in the second overtime of the Blazers win over Brooklyn on Monday night.
