LOS ANGELES – The adrenaline rush has since simmered down. For better or for worse, that often gives an athlete more clarity on how well a previous injury subsided.

After nursing a nearly year-long injury to his left Achilles tendon, however, DeMarcus Cousins told Warriors coach Steve Kerr that “he felt pretty good.” That means that Cousins might increase his workload when the Warriors (32-14) play the Los Angeles Lakers (25-22) on Monday.
