Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins' underexplained extended absence from the team continued into Tuesday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Speaking with reporters before tipoff, Steve Kerr provided another vague update on the 28-year-old, who has been away from the organization since Feb. 14 because of a personal family issue. The Dubs coach told reporters that there is still no timeline on Wiggins' return but noted that “he’s been working out every day” during his absence.
To give an idea of how little is known about the Wiggins situation outside of the team, reporters were left to ask whether it was “incorrect to call his absence right now ‘indefinite.
