OAKLAND -- As Stephen Curry settled into his seat for the first question of the day, someone unleashed a primal scream from a distant corner of the Warriors practice facility.
"As you can tell," Curry said dryly, "there's a lot of excitement in the building."Oh, it was a real scream all right. Media Day for the Warriors, once a humdrum notebook filler, took on a whole new look (and sound) for the defending NBA champions. These guys put the hoop in hoopla. There were so many reporters Monday wanting to chat with Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and the other rock stars from last year's title team that Raymond Ridder, the team's vice president of communications, had to turn people away.
