OAKLAND –– The moment called for Sleepy Floyd to go down memory lane. Not exactly hard for Floyd, though, since he said he has relived this moment almost every day for the past two decades.

The reason? Floyd said Warriors fans can’t enough of him retelling his 51-point performance in the Warriors’ Game 4 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1987 NBA playoffs.

“That’s going to be so difficult to remember,” cracked forward Warriors guard Rick Barry, who sat in between Floyd and Adonal Foyle before the Warriors’ regular-season finale at Oracle Arena against the Clippers on Sunday.
