HOUSTON — The last time the Warriors walked off the Toyota Center floor more than three months ago, they felt the remnants of a virtuoso performance from the Rockets’ duo of James Harden and Chris Paul, who combined for 55 points.
The defensive performance was on par with other poor showings by the Warriors against the Rockets this season.
However, over the past month, the team is providing a reminder of the defense that has produced two championships in the last three years. With the Western Conference finals set for Monday night, the team is out to show it can stop Houston’s offensive attack.
